Inspired West Coast Homes
When I began working with Zeidler Architects on 450 Parc, we knew Kelowna's
South Pandosy District was the ideal location for our masterpiece and were
inspired by its aesthetic. The design is at once organic, warm, and refined
and captures the rich culture of the nearby historical district. It offers easy,
walkable access to bars, restaurants, grocery stores, and retailers, and has
picturesque views of Abbott Park and the surrounding greenspace. It's
quiet, peaceful, and situated right on the lake. The building itself is unlike
any other; it's an entirely concrete structure and is the only one of its kind
between Greater Vancouver and Edmonton. We pulled inspiration from
the old warehouse-turned-luxury-digs in Manhattan's Tribeca and SOHO
neighborhoods, and the exterior shows off steel, sandstone, and reclaimed
brick.
We chose quality and space over quantity and created fewer homes that
feature more space and feel like single-family homes. The average size condo
in 450 Parc is 1,700 square feet of living space with two outdoor patios and
plenty of privacy. Every home has tons of natural light and featured elevated,
penthouse-quality finishes. We offer residents the rare opportunity to
customize the condo they choose so their personalities shine through. The
can select flooring, light fixtures, tiles, countertops, backsplashes, cabinet-
door styles and color, hardware, and trim colors. No two units look exactly
alike—we want each home to be singular to its owners.
