11 The original 1960s Burton Street home was outdated so our clients chose to completely demolish it and design a new luxury single level home. We focused the new design around the existing, now updated, in-ground pool. Many of our new homes are centered around axes, focal points, and key elements that define the design. This home was no exception and was created with an axis from the main entry that extends through to the center of the pool. The house wraps around the pool with covered living areas that offer entertainment spaces for every season. We chose striking white stucco and brick facades, plus a black metal roof, to give the exterior modern, clean lines to match its modern European aesthetic. The color contrast is eye- catching, stunning, and refined without being dramatic. The 8,000 square-foot, single-level design sprawls out on the two-acre property in a sparsely populated, picturesque neighborhood of Northwest Portland. It's the ideal house for residents who value privacy, entertaining guests, and having space for their hobbies. It has four full bedroom suites, an open great room with plenty of room to gather, a kitchen and dining area, and a roomy man cave and entertaining room that provides a calm, relaxing environment. There is also a connected office and greenhouse, a workout room, and a large three-car garage.
