Nestled in the heart of Clackamas County, this project was a high-end luxury
home with a lot of space that feels cozy and warm. The layout is approximately
9,500-plus square feet on a beautiful five-acre parcel of land. We designed
the house to take advantage of the tree-lined property facing south, and a
picturesque dry creek bed, maximizing the beautiful scenic setting. The home
has two large bedroom suites on the main level, one at each end. As you walk
into the entry, your eyes immediately go straight through the great room to
the trees—a sight line that helps bring the outdoors in. Nature is an element
in this home that appears in every room in some way, giving a sense of peace
and tranquility to the spaces.
The sun-filled daylight basement has two bedrooms on one end and another
suite at the opposite end. The family room, exercise room, wine room, and
dry sauna is adjacent. Under the large four-car garage is a memorable
entertainment space that includes a state-of-the-art movie room, arcade, and
pool areas and an adjacent small lounge. All that area leads out to the covered
patio with a full barbecue kitchen. The homeowners couldn't ask for a better
space to relax, hang out, and enjoy family and friends.
