Michael Dunsmuir
With more than 25 years of experience in the residential design industry, Michael Dunsmuir has built a reputation
for having creative, unique designs and highly detailed building plans. Step One Design is a Victoria-based firm
that Michael runs with his wife and business partner, Lisa Dunsmuir. They utilize three-dimensional computer-
aided models that reveal a home's design down to the smallest detail. It allows the Step One team and the
homeowners to collaborate toward a shared, clear vision. Michael doesn't believe in simply checking all the boxes
on the client's must-have list, but instead, works methodically to create a highly customized home that reflects the
homeowners' lifestyle.
