For Bruce Donnally, every design project starts with listening and learning. From there, he can discover creative, fresh
ways to find the most elegant solutions that address the client's needs while also producing compelling buildings.
His architectural approach is modern in the sense that it reflects current lifestyle choices, costs, and technologies.
Nonetheless, when integrating new design elements into older buildings, he is committed to respecting the original
historic style. A practicing architect for more than 40 years, Donnally received his bachelor's degree from the
University of Virginia and his master's degree in architecture from Yale University.
