Taylor Callaway
Founder and lead architect Taylor Callaway first fell in love with architecture when he was just a boy, tagging along with a friend's dad to
job sites. He still holds that same passion today and runs his firm, First Lamp, with the core philosophy that meaningful buildings have
a profound impact. Founded in 2009, First Lamp, started with Taylor's idea that good architecture blends creativity with craftsmanship
and fostered the connection between architecture, design, and construction. While First Lamp is a full-service architecture firm, it was
founded as a design-build firm for the first ten years. The team places emphasis on the end result—stunning, functional, net-zero homes
that transcend ordinary design.
