TOP: The living room is rich with materials, including both grooved and highly
textured limestone blocks, steel plate custom shelving, and the rhythmic wood
ceiling rafters and deck. The flooring is reclaimed oak. Dramatic lighting provides
for a variety of experiences while also highlighting key artwork.
BOTTOM: The formal dining room doubles as a gallery space with paintings, small
sculptures, wall sculptures, and even the dining table acting as art. The space
abuts the long hallway creating an interactive art and light experience each time
someone walks from one end of the house to the other.
FACING PAGE:
The open kitchen area is separated by a ramp leading to the
lowered living room. A floating steel counter provides an eating area within the
kitchen.
