104 Inspired Modern Living Nestled in Los Angeles' historic Crestwood Hills, this residence harmoniously bridges mid-century modernism with pastoral warmth. Inspired by Quincy Jones' architectural legacy in the neighborhood and the owners' affinity for farmhouse aesthetics, the design merges cedar siding and standing seam metal roofing with clean, contemporary lines. What initially appeared as a constraint — positioning the home against a cul-de-sac due to the lot's challenging grade — evolved into an opportunity. The design orchestrates a sequence of outdoor spaces that transform the property into a private sanctuary that's ideal for gatherings. The entrance patio flows seamlessly from the foyer and living area, exemplifying the home's indoor-outdoor connectivity. Public spaces unfold in a thoughtful progression, with living, dining, and kitchen areas leading to a private rear patio embraced by terraced gardens.
