The "Contemporary Waterfront" residence in Indianapolis, Indiana is a stunning example
of modern architecture seamlessly integrated with its serene lakeside surroundings.
Remarkably, the original home on this lot was also designed by Gary Nance Design over
two decades ago. When the new homeowner envisioned a contemporary estate, they
sought to rebuild with a design that would fully embrace the breathtaking water views
from every room. Gary also worked with Harold Sark Architecture to bring his ideas to life.
The exterior is a masterpiece of clean lines and expansive glass, flooding the interiors
with natural light while providing unobstructed panoramic vistas. Thoughtfully selected
natural materials, including stone and wood, enhance the home's connection to the
landscape, creating a fluid transition between indoor and outdoor living spaces.
Designed for both elegance and comfort, the home's exterior boasts spacious patios and
decks, inviting seamless outdoor entertaining. A stunning infinity pool appears to blend
into the lake beyond, offering a tranquil retreat that perfectly balances sophistication with
