Inside the residence on Lake Maxinkuckee, natural materials reflect the home's exterior elements, creating a warm yet
sophisticated ambiance.
Every design element was carefully curated in collaboration with interior designer Kari Demond of KLM Interiors to
achieve a perfect balance between contemporary artistry and timeless tradition. Kari embraces diverse styles and
environments, avoiding a "trademark" look to keep the design process fresh and captivating.
A striking fireplace, adorned with metal rods, was designed to mimic the organic structure of a beaver den, blending
natural inspiration with modern craftsmanship. The sculptural installation in the main living area, featuring lobster
balls, is another standout moment.
The homeowner's appreciation for contemporary art and classic details is evident throughout, including the
incorporation of 300-year-old European wood parquet flooring, which adds depth and history to the space.
Every detail was meticulously planned prior to the home's construction to ensure a cohesive and intentional aesthetic.
