ABOVE: This cozy seating area, featuring an ArchPot fire pit and vacation-inspired
Acapulco chairs, offers a serene space for quiet conversations and reflection — not
to mention a picturesque view across the striking, LED-lit modern pool that extends
to the outdoor living area and pool house beyond. Artful landscape lighting enhances
the ambiance; uplighting accentuates the rich textures of cypress and holly trees,
while subtle path and landscape lights softly illuminate the lower plane. Café lights,
strung between the house and pool house, create a warm, cohesive connection
between the two structures.
LEFT: The entry to the outdoor living space is a welcoming embrace with the infinity-
edge spa on one side and an LED-lit acrylic water sphere on the other. The steps and
adjacent plinth wall are faced in pristinely mitered porcelain pavers by QDI Surfaces
and include a hidden LED strip light channel illuminating each step and coordinating
with the colored LED lights within the pool. The flat-roofed structure utilizes massive
steel beams to maintain a column-free entry. Radiant heating, along with multiple
ceiling fans, ensure the year-round use of this open-air space.
FACING PAGE: The pool house includes an open-concept games and living space, a
fully equipped kitchen with island seating, a full pool bath with shower, a workout
room, and a storage room. Glass windows extend to the floor, creating the perfect
indoor-outdoor connection while a cleverly placed countertop window provides an
easy pass-through from the kitchen to the al fresco kitchen. The offset fireplace wall,
clad in a honed ledgestone by RealStone, offers a cozy backdrop for a large sectional
to accommodate plenty of guests.
