Inspired Modern Living
The stunning steel-and-glass conservatory of the Standard Mill unit is a serene retreat. Serving as the heart of the
home, it was inspired by the British greenhouses and Mediterranean courtyards the homeowners cherished in their
travels. This luminous retreat bridges the living areas and primary suite, offering a peaceful space for morning coffee,
plant cultivation, or quiet reflection. Handmade Moroccan floor tiles set a courtyard-like ambiance, distinguishing the
space from the rest of the home. Tunable white lighting mimics natural sunlight, enhancing the warmth of the space.
Floating shelves, anchored to the conservatory's steel frame, display glassware and decorative artifacts, while a clean-
burning ethanol fireplace and oak-and-steel cabinetry tie the open-concept space together.
The conservatory transitions effortlessly into the primary suite, accessed through a grand 12-foot wood-clad pivot
door with a custom leather-wrapped steel handle. Inside the suite, a custom wood and steel canopy headboard adds
both architectural interest and practicality, concealing overhead ductwork while enhancing the sense of enclosure.
Soft curtains provide privacy while allowing diffused light to filter through.
Positioned to frame breathtaking views of the Stone Arch Bridge, the bed serves as a focal point, while a concealed
TV within the dresser preserves the room's clean aesthetic. Every detail reflects intentional design, balancing luxury,
comfort, and timeless craftsmanship.
