Thanks to its location in a high alpine meadow above the Roaring Fork Valley, this 6,000-square-foot home is afforded 180-degree views of Colorado's Elk
Mountains. Indeed, the layout of the home emphasizes and embraces the panoramic vistas, which include Mount Sopris and Capital Peak in the distance.
The entry is a glass aperture which frames the views immediately upon arrival. A two-story guest wing is located on one side, with the great room on the
other side. The home is flooded with natural light due to expansive glass and clerestory windows along the south elevation, contributing to the grandeur of
the great room and the jewel-box wine room. Expansive patios and outdoor living spaces off the great room disappear into the meadow below. Beyond the
great room is a generous office and library that also serves to buffer the primary bedroom from the public areas and create an oasis for maximum privacy.
