Patrick Harders began his lighting career in 1998 in Charlotte, North Carolina. In 2001, he started his lighting design/build firm outside of
Washington, D.C. Driven by a belief the industry needed better tools to make better designs, he founded Sterling Lighting manufacturing.
Patrick served on the board of directors for the International Landscape Lighting Institute (ILLI) and has had his work featured in a variety of
publications and recognized in design competitions. In 2022, two of Patrick's designs were recognized by the LIT Lighting Design Awards,
displayed in the House of Lucie Gallery, and recognized at the Museum of the Acropolis in Greece. Patrick's focus is designing the best
lighting systems using the best lighting products and helping others do the same.
