4 Inspired Modern Living Originally built in the 1970s as a Spanish-style home, the Summit Residence has undergone a striking transformation that merges contemporary design with natural materials. The renovation introduces a thoughtfully expanded layout, including additional bedrooms and a meticulously reworked courtyard that enhances the home's connection to its surroundings. The exterior now features a sophisticated blend of ipe wood and smooth stucco, creating a warm yet modern aesthetic. Expansive windows frame breathtaking views of the San Francisco Bay, while strategically placed skylights invite even more natural light into the space — including the open kitchen. A spacious deck extends from the main living area, offering an ideal setting for al fresco entertaining while overlooking the landscaped garden and pool below. Minimal railings ensure that neither view nor light is blocked. This harmonious integration of materials, light, and space results in a home that feels both grounded and airy — offering a perfect balance of warmth, openness, and modern refinement.
