ABOVE: Lighting was one of the most important aspects of the spatial design brief. During the day, day light and sun
paths were mapped to enter the floor plan through window and skylights.In the evenings, coved ceilings and hidden LED
strip lighting reverse the lighting design. Michelle selected pendants as pieces of art defining the individual spaces.

The kitchen becomes the heart of the new extension, cleverly linking to the existing service areas
through a hidden scullery door. Timber flooring was carried throughout the main floor and lower basement to connect the
existing home to the new spaces.
