11 This residence in Wapiti sits in front of the deeply eroded mountains at the east entrance to Yellowstone National Park - a tranquil setting that has existed and will exist for thousands of years. It is designed to be at one with the surrounding rugged yet peaceful landscape - at once resilient yet fragile. There's a powerful Zen energy both inside and outside, captured in the simple architectural forms and the wide expanses of glass to the South that help to remove the boundary between the exterior and interior.
