4 ABOVE: This picturesque view of the apple orchard is unified by a glass hallway that visually and physically connects the landscape beyond. Lighting is intentionally restrained, allowing subtle shadowing to play across the meadow grass beneath. The result is a quiet, atmospheric scene where transparency, reflection, and soft illumination work together to blur the boundary between interior and exterior, day and night. Lighting Design: Janet Lennox Moyer and Borealis Lighting Studio (Brooke Silber) Landscape Architecture: Rees Roberts + Partners Landscape Construction: Summerhill Landscapes Inc. Construction: Wright & Co Construction Inc. Photography by Tim Ryan FACING PAGE: For a home set deep within the woods, the approach relies on subtle moonlighting and silhouetting to define the driveway and walkway. A crape myrtle allée gently leads the eye toward the front door, while understated illumination on the surrounding backdrop trees provides depth without distraction. The scene feels immersive and calm — guided by light yet anchored in darkness. Photography by Tim Ryan Scan to view more projects by LandLux Lighting
