Viewpoint Lighting is a custom outdoor lighting and audio
design-build firm that has shaped Northern California's landscapes for
more than 20 years. Known for thoughtful design, precise installation,

Founder Andy Thomas grew up in the landscape trades before moving
into landscape supply and eventually becoming a sales rep for an
international lighting manufacturer. That blend of hands-on work,
industry insight, and a well-timed lack of job prospects inspired him to
strike out on his own. What started as a one-person, part-time venture
has since evolved into a nationally recognized firm supported by a tight-
knit, highly skilled team.

Andy is a past president of the Association of Outdoor Lighting
Professionals (AOLP), has chaired multiple committees within the
organization, and holds the Certified Outdoor Lighting Designer (COLD)
designation. He and four of his core team members are also Certified
Low Voltage Lighting Technicians (CLVLT), distinguishing Viewpoint as
one of the most capable firms in the country. Their reputation is built on
clear communication, meticulous project execution, and relationships
that last long after the lights turn on.
