Since 2000, Edeko Lighting Studio has been illuminating some of
the most significant architectural landmarks and cultural events in Greece.
Guided by the artistic vision of its founder, internationally acclaimed lighting
designer Eleftheria Deko, the studio comprises a team of architectural and
stage-lighting specialists who approach each project as an opportunity for
transformation.
With technical ingenuity and artistic sensitivity, Edeko Lighting Studio
seeks the tacit poetry within lighting design. For them, light is more than
illumination — it is revelation.
Across architecture, stage, events, and art installations, their work aims to
uncover the quiet poetry of illumination, where artistry meets ingenuity and
pioneering technology supports the creation of atmosphere and emotional
resonance.
EDEK0 LIGHTING STUDIO
ATHENS, GREECE
When illuminating an ancient Greek monument like the
Acropolis in Athens (facing page) and the Temple of
Poseidon in Sounion (above), the purpose extends far
beyond highlighting the marble stone and architectural form.
It's about illuminating the histories, the heritage, and the
collective memory they carry.
In moments like these, lighting also becomes a compelling
act of remembrance — a way to honor the enduring symbols
of civilization and the values they represent that stand still
high in all humanity:
Measure, Freedom, Democracy, Beauty,
Justice.
