ABOVE: A "fallen" twisted I-beam from the World Trade Center stands as the centerpiece of the Beverly Hills 9/11 Memorial. Behind,
a pair of columns represents the Twin Towers. Illuminating the memorial allows the public to reflect on its features with fewer
distractions and greater focus.

FACING PAGE LEFT: This dark steel Clement Meadmore sculpture required a cooler 5500k color temperature to keep it from
disappearing at night. The chosen temperature reveals Meadmore's characteristic tension and fluid movement, bringing the form to
life where warmer tones fell short.

FACING PAGE RIGHT: This George Rickey kinetic sculpture greets guests as they arrive at this Beverly Hills residence. Three in-grade
fixtures illuminate the piece from below, capturing the shifting motion of its independent arms. As the sculpture moves through its
cycles, the lighting reveals ever-changing reflections and patterns across its surface and plane of rotation.
