Before installation, the historic façade was illuminated only by an aging pole light, leaving the building largely in shadow. In collaboration with Jackson Lighting Supply and IlluminFX , the team developed a precise lighting plan using custom optics on IlluminFX's well lights to achieve the perfect result. The project was born from an unexpected moment: Joel and Beth happened to get lost in Downtown San Antonio one night and noticed just how dimly lit the Alamo was.
