Masters of Landscape Lighting
TOP LEFT: This project represents a complete landscape lighting renovation, with nearly
every fixture relocated and additional lighting introduced to reawaken the property after
dark. Soft illumination reveals the diversity of trees, highlighting variations in form, scale,
structure, texture, and color. Moonlighting helps guide movement from the house, while
discreet step lighting ensures safe navigation. A carefully illuminated stone wall anchors
the scene, providing both structure and visual weight.
TOP RIGHT: This sculpture is illuminated from within, emphasizing its form. A meticulously
maintained hedge serves as a quiet backdrop, allowing the artwork to read clearly against
the landscape. Birch trees animate the background, their softly lit movement adding depth
to the composition.
Landscape Maintenance: Coastal Arbor Care
BOTTOM LEFT: Both lighting and architecture are in quiet dialogue here, each
complementing the other's presence without competing for attention. Trees are visually
grounded to the lawn using hanging pendant fixtures, creating a subtle foundation of
light. Downlighting from above softly washes the wide steps, allowing the effect to be
experienced without revealing the source.

FACING PAGE: The refinement of light levels and the addition of fixtures along this birch-
tree-lined driveway emphasizes the remarkable texture of the bark, transforming the
approach into a rhythmic, sculptural experience. It creates a grand sense of arrival.
