The Volftsun Siblings The Volftsun Siblings
Shlomo Volftsun and Hava Brandes had five children that
survived into adulthood. The four we have not yet followed—
Ida Volftsun Gluzman, Rosa Volftsun Udler, Inna Volftsun
Moldavsky, and Manya Volftsun London—played an important
role in the development of the Volftsun family. They were all
instrumental in helping their brother Iosif survive. Current
generations of the extended family are grateful for the Volftsun
sisters' strength, perseverance, and abiding faith through both
happy and sad circumstances. These chapters show just how
dangerous and difficult the lives of these women were, and with
how much grace and humanity they responded.
