putting his energies into remodeling the house.
It was a small, two-bedroom home, but Iosif added
a second story and a big room on the first level. Iosif
did a great deal of the work himself, including all of
the siding. Much of the work took place in the winter
months when it was very cold, but Iosif was
used to cold.
