Two important and distinguished families came together to
create the family story this book celebrates. In Part One, we
learned about the Volftsun family, in which Iosif grew up.
Part Two describes the events and challenges that forged the
remarkably strong Braverman family. The story can be traced
back to Leib and Malka Braverman. We learn of their early
lives and difficulties during the years of World War II and
thereafter. We also meet the descendents of this remarkable
couple, paying special attention to Lyubov Braverman, whose
fate it was to be united in marriage with Iosif Volftsun, and of
their courtship and early marriage.
