203 Since its opening in July 2001, this Les Ferber design has become a premier destination for golfers visiting Prince Edward Island. The 18-hole championship golf course takes full advantage of the elevation changes by offering stunning panoramic views of the PEI countryside, the River Clyde, and Gulf of St. Lawrence in a truly extraordinary setting. There are seven tree-lined parkland holes and 11 heathland-style holes. Water comes into play nine times on six different holes. With superior golf course conditioning, this par-72 golf layout measures just less than 7,000 yards with a course rating of 73.8 from the back tees; however, multiple tee boxes on every hole ensure an enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. The 13th hole at Glasgow Hills is one of the best par 3s you will find anywhere. Its a very difficult downhiller that can play anywhere from 170 to 250 yards depending on the tee and pin placement. Set on the side of rolling hills, it provides amazing views of the clubhouse and the surrounding lands that make Glasgow Hills such a special course to play. It has a very large green, but you do not want to miss long, left, or right, as it is surrounded by tough bunkers that make getting up and down from there very difficult for most golfers. No matter where the tee or pin is, center of the green is always the play on this signature hole. The course is located only 20 minutes from Charlottetown and Summerside in the charming village of New Glasgow. The Piper's Restaurant & Patio is part of the PEI Culinary Trail and a must-visit, allowing visitors to experience and celebrate the food culture of Prince Edward Island with a view you won't forget.
