At Staglin Family Vineyard, all four members of the family work together
closely day by day to produce varietal wines of distinction. Shari and
Garen Staglin founded the winery in 1985 after years of study, and later
welcomed children Brandon and Shannon to the fold as full-fledged winery
team members. Son of Pasquale Stagliano—naturalized to Ramon Staglin—Garen has an
Italian heritage and upbringing that made wine a part of life from an early age. During the
1960s, Garen and Shari visited Napa often, and frequented local wine
shops in Washington,
D.C. and New York City before moving to Northern California. By 1985, a dream finally came
true: the family acquired 64 total acres of land.
The Staglin Family Vineyard label was founded on the values of family ownership,
commitment to quality, and memorable experiences for guests and tasters. Brandon and
Shannon grew up on the property and joined their parents' in running the winery.
