FANTESCA ESTATE CABERNET SAUVIGNON
gourmet pairings
For a wonderful dinner, pair a cowboy
steak with pickled chanterelles,
chimichurri, and giant duck fat fries as
created by Michelin Star Chef Brandon
Sharp of SolBar.
tasting notes
Garnet red in color, the cabernet sauvignon possesses aromas of ripe
blackberry, black cherry, cedar, spice, toasty French oak, and a hint of
cinnamon. Across the palate, the flavors are similar to the nose; ripe fruit
dominates with a more subtle touch of oak. The wine is silky in the mouth,
with velvety soft, balanced, and well-behaved tannins.
winemaker's insight
Grapes from Spring Mountain produce wines with beautiful acid balance,
length, and a refinement that pairs excellently with a variety of cuisine. The
wine cellars well and may be enjoyed for years after bottling.
