These clients love color, but throughout the home we used it with intention. Rather than carrying one palette
from room to room, we considered how each space would be lived in, how the clients wanted it to feel, and where
color could have the greatest impact.
In the dining room, the original architectural details provide a beautiful counterpoint to bolder pattern and
color. A statement wallcovering brings energy to the room, while a contemporary interpretation of a traditional
chandelier crafted with hand-blown Murano glass—sits comfortably alongside the original windows, moldings,
and ceiling medallion.
The formal living room was designed as a place to unplug. Without a television, the room instead invites
conversation, reading, music, and time at the piano. Contemporary furnishings mingle with traditional references,
while a sculptural cocktail table inspired by tree branches quietly reinforces the home's connection to nature.
Rather than simply renovating a 1939 estate, we created a home that carries its history forward—one that honors
the architecture it inherited while telling the story of the family who now calls it home..
