An open floorplan concept was essential for the
home built on West Schubert. Previously the
site of an old factory, the lot was one of several
that were parceled out to create individual lots,
making the area suitable for contemporary
design. Its location next to a future park meant
that the owner wanted to capitalize on the
current and potential views. The floorplan is
oriented toward the front and right side of the
house. There, overhangs draw the eye of outside
viewers toward the geometric lines and expanses
of crystal-clear windows that make up the
majority of the home's façade.
