Dividing the space into two modules, the
architects conceptualized a home that was
adaptive to the residents' varying needs. The
Living Bar module of the home features a chef's
kitchen and dining area in addition to the
secondary master bedroom. When a larger
occupancy is expected, the Sleeping Bar offers
numerous bedrooms and bathrooms as part of
the home's expansion module. The green home
includes geothermal heating and cooling, a solar
array on the roof, radiant heating system, and a
number of other features that produce a near
zero-net energy performance.
