TOP AND BOTTOM RIGHT: In a home filled with a variety of colors—
also featured on pages 2-4—the soft blue banquet nestled under
the windows provides a place for relaxation. Dark hardwood
accents and a variety of textures are juxtaposed with the pieces
in the two-story orange sitting room. The two rooms face one
another and feel very cocoon-like, despite the soaring ceiling.
Together, they're welcoming and simply elegant.

FACING PAGE:
A sense of airiness permeates every nook and
cranny of the living room situated directly across from the dining
room—also featured on page 5. The luxury of natural light is
capitalized on in the space, and the views of the forest outside
the windows are just magnificent. Bright bursts of color pop
against the neutral palette provided by the neutral colored wall
unit. The television sits in the center of the unit, concealed by
a sliding door, giving the space the flexibility of a family room
or a lounge-like sitting area when guests come over. The space
is a feast for the eyes: the orange velvet couch sitting across
from color opposite blue chairs; gold and bronze accents; and
luxurious textures saturate the room with a sense of comfort
that's sophisticated but never fussy.
