All groups will start on the first tee with a designated tee time that will be determined by your team captains. Your opponents will also be determined by your captains for each round. All putts must be played into the hole unless conceded by your opponent. Saturday Morning, July 25th 2-Man Best Ball (Four Ball) Country Club Course You and your partner play your own golf balls on each hole. At the completion of each hole, the lowest individual stroke total becomes your team's official score. Your team's score is compared against the other team's lowest stroke total to determine which side wins the hole. The scoring is by match play rules, as each hole can be won, lost or tied. The team winning the most holes wins the match. All 18 holes may not have to be played if one side is up more than the number of holes that remain to be played. You and your partner may play in any order you decide is best. One important point is that, As long as one of you can post a score, the other need not even finish the hole. Only one player has to finish the hole for your side's score to be official. Partners may give advice to their partner at any point in the match without penalty. Putts can only be conceded by your opponent Saturday Afternoon, July 25th 2-Man Alternate Shot Fazio Course Each team determines in advance of the first hole which member will tee off on the odd numbered holes, leaving the remaining member to tee off on the even numbered holes. Only two tee shots (one from each team) will start the hole. The remaining shots will then alternate between team members through hole out or concession of hole. The scoring is by match play rules, as each hole can be won, lost or tied. The team winning the most holes, win the match. Partners may give advice to their partner at any point in the match without penalty. Sunday Afternoon, July 26th Individual Matches Country Club Course You will play an 18-hole match against a single opponent. Tee off order is by honors. Scoring is by match play rules, and each hole is either won, lost or tied. The individual who wins the most holes, wins the match. All 18 holes may not have to be played if one side is up more than the number of holes that remain to be played. Team members may not give advice to their partner, during the play of a hole, such as reading putts or club selection. Putts can only be conceded by your opponent. Crusader Cup Team Scoring Each match will be scored as 1 point on the overall team's score for a win in a match or ½ point for a draw. The overall team that accumulates the points in the two days of matches will be awarded the Crusader Cup. Match Rules and Scoring
