PREPARING FOR YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT
I've designed my exit before I arrive. I know what I want to accomplish. If the project feels right, I walk out with a
signed contract and a deposit. When you're meeting with homeowners or real estate agents about staging a home, you
present yourself with confidence, you interview them, and if they are agreeable to your terms, you complete all of the
necessary paperwork to formalize the partnership on the spot. You must have a solid understanding of the neighborhood,
property, buyer demographics, budget, and market. If you are experiencing the property for the first time at the meeting,
come prepared with two sets of financial agreements—one for staging the whole home with your inventory and one
for staging the whole home using an equal balance of your furnishings and theirs.
