147 Everybody's got their favorite sauce for their "pigs in a blanket." Use your favorite for dipping the sausage! We prefer the rich flavor of whole-grain mustard. Truffled Popcorn yield: 5 cups 4 tablespoons butter 2 teaspoons truffle oil 1 bag microwave popcorn (or fresh popcorn) 1 cup parmesan salt to taste In large bowl, melt butter and add truffle oil. Pop popcorn according to package. Pour popped popcorn into large bowl and toss with butter and truffle oil. Add parmesan and salt. Serve warm at room temperature. To add some extra pop at the party, serve the popcorn in paper cones. 1 pound Conecuh sausage 1 package frozen or refrigerated pie dough 2 eggs 1 tablespoon water whole-grain mustard Cut sausage into 2-inch pieces. If using frozen pie dough, thaw it for 15-20 minutes and cut into 1-inch strips. Combine eggs and water in a bowl and whisk briskly. Wrap sausage in the pie dough just until dough overlaps. Cut away excess dough and use the egg wash to close. Bake in 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. yield: 20 tailgate party Pigs in a Blanket
