garden party
G
In the South, we do bridal teas, we do baby showers, and we
do lunch. Ladies love to lunch! I love how special a luncheon
sounds and looks and simply is. You say "luncheon" and guests
have an idea what to expect—they'll dress up at least a little
and maybe a lot, hopefully with a dainty hat or even a fascinator
like they do in England. The tea party luncheon concept just
always sounds good, whether in the heat of summer on a
terrace or in the middle of winter all cozy by the fire. Even
though guests know the basics of what to expect, it's always
fun to surprise them just a bit, whether it's a new take on an
old favorite dish or simply the way you present something.
That's what makes the event memorable, well, that and the
memories you're making with your dearest friends.
