What Are We Celebrating?
Each and every time I meet a client, my first question is:
"What are we celebrating?" The naming of Celebrations,
Ltd. was inspired by the fact that I wanted a company that
could take an everyday occasion to another level—all of
life's precious moments are truly something to celebrate.
I've been honored to be a part of many great celebrations
here in the Cayman Islands. From the yearlong festivities
of the Cayman Islands Quincentennial, the annual Heroes
Day celebrations, and various other national events; to the
CayFilm International Film Festival and working with the
Young Caymanian Leadership Foundation since its incep-
tion, I've enjoyed working with and supporting organizations
here at home since the very beginning of Celebrations, Ltd.
The couples whose real weddings are featured here are
among the many hundreds that I have had the absolute
honor to have been part of. I would like to thank them all
for giving me the opportunity to bring their dreams to
reality. Within this book, I have shared some tips about
the wedding industry itself, but the most valuable tip I can
provide is to encourage you all to never doubt your inner
passion. If you can dream it, you can become it.
As you enjoy this book, I hope you will be inspired in many
ways—from ideas for your wedding, to knowing that this
all started at a dining table. My spark of passion has
flourished into a successful event production company that
is committed to making people happy every single day. It is
my honor to share these memories with you.
