TOP LEFT: The three story home is another that was intended to
be the owners' secondary home, but when they moved in, they
loved it so much that they made it their first residence. Nature
and architecture blend beautifully with the towering home, and
there isn't a bad view to be had when inside.
MIDDLE LEFT & BOTTOM LEFT: Custom woodwork plays a central role
as another way to merge the indoors with the outdoors. While
full walls of windows are spread throughout the home, others
pop up in unexpected places, such as the diamond-shaped
window in the stairway. The home is dynamic and subtly playful.
FACING PAGE TOP: Sweeping rooflines add a flowing gracefulness
to the shingle-style home on Kiawah Island. Rows of windows
and details like the Camens bracket—a signature element—
under the eaves make this home something special.
FACING PAGE BOTTOM: An infinity edge pool is nestled against the
back of the home, where the Camens brackets are prominently
seen under the eaves. A multitude of windows open the house
up to the outdoors and the incredible views. Small details, like
the window panes at the top of each large picture window, add
interest. Their intentional placement adds a decorative element
to each window without interrupting the view.
