RIGHT: Formal elegance mixes with a more minimalist viewpoint
in this entry hall that features a classic velvet chaise longue and
printed grass cloth wall covering. The large mirror reflects the
Corbin Bronze and the equally sculptural staircase.

Elegantly feminine and full of light, this master
suite in a Key West, Florida residence represents the cool
breeze of the ocean while celebrating all the natural beauty of
its surroundings. The space is formal yet fresh and approachable
thanks to a palette in delicate shades of pale blues and warm
ivories, which symbolize the water and the sand that's literally
footsteps from the bedroom doors leading directly outside to
the pool and the beach beyond.

What's most eye-catching about this
vignette is likely the art on the wall above the midcentury
wooden cabinet—and that's exactly how it should be. The
statement collage by artist Paul Russo was a commissioned work
intended to immortalize the homeowner's published cookbook
by incorporating every page of it. The green, leafy pattern of
the two upholstered side chairs echoes the movement of the
collage and its earthy palette of green, sienna, and brown.

"A space must have soul; it should
reflect the lives within. Through
this reflection, the space becomes
an environment where comfort and
beauty thrive."
