3 Interior design will always be Laurie McRae's first love, but her passion for antiques runs a close second. At Laurie McRae Interiors, both of her passions work hand in hand. With more than 35 years of experience, she continues to set herself apart with a discerning eye that celebrates a classically timeless aesthetic. Her work runs the gamut from residential and commercial projects to hospitality and healthcare design. But she takes special delight in historic homes and renovations where she can pay homage to their heritage while also incorporating modern functionality and serving her clients' individualized needs and tastes. Laurie not only excels in giving birth to beautiful design, but also in effective project and construction management. She is a licensed interior designer in the state of Georgia and sat on the State Licensing Board of Architects and Interior Designers for seven years. Certified by NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification), she has also served on that board and as president. In addition, she also holds the certification for kitchen and bath design (NKBA) and is a certified fine arts appraiser. Her professional certifications speak to Laurie's expanded knowledge that enhances the function of her spaces and supports universal design, accommodating multiple generations and lifestyles.
