the central kitchen, the residence boasts a sizeable granite
island, modern cabinets, and custom light fixtures at its heart.
RIGHT: A modern master bath features a free-standing tub
surrounded by windows on three sides, but the site's location
guarantees privacy at any point day or night. The effect is
one of sitting in a bathtub in a treehouse.
FACING PAGE: Timber framing, custom metalwork, and two
large stone fireplaces immediately draw the eye when gazing
up the steep site of the Mountain Modern home. A massive
deck extends seamlessly from the living room, drawing you
