RIGHT: A modern condo renovation in Portland's trendy
Pearl District features an open floorplan perfect for easy
conversation. A long continuous bank of rift-sawn white
oak cabinets extends from the kitchen into the living room.
At the end of the bar, a raised section of cabinetry anchors
the space and serves as a gathering point when the owners
entertain guests.
BELOW LEFT: Clad in a subtle leaf pattern tile, the shower wall
in the bathroom adds texture while maintaining a soothing
palette. Floating vanities and an all-glass shower give the
space a modern spa feel.
BELOW RIGHT: In the master bathroom, blue-gray walls mingle
with the natural warmth of the floating vanity. A recessed
niche along the top edge of the bathtub is one of many small
details that make the room beautiful and highly functional.
FACING PAGE: Bamboo floors run throughout the living room
and adjacent kitchen. A pair of sofas face one another
and draw the eye to the sleek fireplace flanked by custom
cabinetry that offers streamlined storage for modern living.
