ABOVE & RIGHT: The Grand Residence overlooks the Teton
River Valley and the Teton Range beyond. Clad in native
northern Montana iron slate stone veneer and wane-cut
large plank fir siding, the Mountain Modern homes pay
homage to local architecture while enjoying modern high-
efficiency energy envelopes. Outdoor decks offer spectacular
panoramic views.
FACING PAGE: Inside, the project's source of inspiration is
apparent in the overhead scissor trusses constructed of
metal and wood. Yellowstone Architects researched local
residential architecture and the designs of historic railroad
depots as a guide for the project's final design.
