ABOVE & FACING PAGE TOP: On the south side of the house, a
pool and ample patio area capitalize on the expansive views.
Transom windows, deep overhangs, and hip roofs harken to
the Japanese-influenced architecture. A covered grill area
adjacent to the pool shelters the home chef from the sun in
warmer months and rain when needed.
LEFT: A substantial, vertical cedar wall cuts through the
design from the front to the back, breaking up the horizontal
lines of the home, defining the front entry and separating the
public from the private spaces inside.
FACING PAGE BOTTOM: A neutral interior color palette,
complete with beautiful wood tones, keeps the focus on
nature's splendor right outside. Interiors by Mandy Callaway.
