ABOVE: Unique Sapele wood with a beeswing texture makes
up the back wall and bed frame in the master bedroom. The
otherwise neutral color palette allows the woodwork to take
center stage in the serene space.
FACING PAGE TOP & BOTTOM: The Sequim, Washington,
home features Hardie Panel siding and aluminum trim on the
exterior. Its burnt orange façade cuts through the landscape,
yet floor-to-ceiling windows in each room allow the outdoors
in. Near the center of the home, a second-story sitting area
allows the owners a place to relax on slow mornings.
