ABOVE: The 14,000-square-foot French inspired residence
includes extensive marble work. The two-story grand living
room is spacious enough for concerts featuring guest
musicians. A coffered ceiling in the dining room draws the
eye of its occupants.
FACING PAGE TOP: A natural spring on the site presented
a challenge during construction, but with water features on
three sides of the home—including three-story rapids to the
north—the design embraces the element instead of trying to
hide it. Cutting gardens and extensive landscaping nods to
French manors and their accompanying gardens.
FACING PAGE BOTTOM: Hidden bunkers around the
property conceal pumps for the pool and fountains to
maintain the luxurious feel of the front and rear yards. A trellis
complete with waterfall accompanies the pool, adding to the
romantic ambiance.
