ABOVE: The homeowner played a large role in the overall
design of the home, and the kitchen is no exception. From
ample cold food storage for fresh foods to massive double
islands, the kitchen is perfect for cooking, entertaining, and
gathering as a family.
LEFT: The stairway took months to build as layer upon layer
of plywood was applied to the design to create its artful
curves. A recessed and lighted handrail adds to the modern
gallery feel, while the leather stair treads surprise all who
encounter them.
FACING PAGE TOP: Named Sin Ceras from the Latin word
meaning sincerity—literally "without wax"—the home is the
epitome of authenticity and fine craftsmanship. In the age of
Michelangelo, lesser artists filled the flaws in their sculptures
with wax, but those who were "sincera" wouldn't have
dreamed to do so. Like the great Renaissance craftsmen, All
Elements crafted the home through daily hands-on attention
and the utmost care.
FACING PAGE BOTTOM: The family room located on the
southwest corner of the house overlooks the modern
pool which was built into solid bedrock. The lower level
of the home was structurally engineered with the help of
geotechnical engineers to ensure stability. Energy efficient
windows and internal mechanical systems keep the energy
bills shockingly low.
