TOP LEFT AND RIGHT: The Lighthouse Residence also features
a striking guest house on the property that truly represents
a warm, glowing lantern. Although the interior footprint only
measures 450 square feet, the home's tall ceilings and large
expanses of glass create an open feel despite its petite size.
BOTTOM LEFT: With an efficient yet comfortable use of space,
the small living room, dining room, and kitchen become a
cohesive unit. Ultimately, all attention is focus outwards to the
stunning lake views beyond.
FACING PAGE TOP LEFT: The loft area looks down into the living
room below. From this vantage point, the organic beauty of
the Cam Mathison-designed light fixture is also glimpsed.
Cam constructs his whimsical lights from driftwood found at
the lake, further enhancing the indoor-outdoor correlation.
FACING PAGE BOTTOM: Custom-designed by a mining
engineer, the large guillotine door disappears upwards to
create a disappearing wall that opens directly out to the lake
for seamless connectivity between the inside and outside.
The fireplace provides a rustic yet streamlined sense of
warmth that doesn't obstruct the view.
