C U STO M B U I L D E R 63 GoldEdge Properties Well-planned, timeless, and expertly executed designs stand out among homes in a time when short trends seem to be the modus operandi for many developers. For the GoldEdge firm, designing and building modern yet classic homes means building for the future. Drawing inspiration from others' outstanding work—and asking the question, "How did they do that?"— TJ Sidhu and his business partner Clint Hale love bringing a client's passion to reality and building a home they will love for years to come. At once elegant and practical, modern but approachable, GoldEdge projects, in turn, become inspirations for other builders. The team's one-of-a-kind homes are the result of patient design, scrupulous attention to detail, and the idea that focal points don't have to reside in just one place in the house. Each room includes special touches that add to the wow factor of the overall design that's far better appreciated than a trend. Outdoor spaces are no different. In fact, TJ asserts that landscaping and outdoor living spaces are among the most important features of a design, and yet are often overlooked. The opposite is true with GoldEdge Properties, where transparency, integrity, and open communication ensure that no detail is overlooked and homeowners' visions are honored through each phase of the process. Inside, the kitchen features a walnut island, chiseled edge concrete countertops, and knotty alder cabinetry. The dining room was created to be a focal point, featuring a mix of natural materials and a large wood slab table in keeping with the West Coast contemporary feel of the design. Timber slatted ceilings, alder paneling, and ample natural light create a warm environment throughout the home. The spa-like bathroom features a crisp white soaker tub surrounded by a bed of river rock. Photograph by Revival Art Studio MISSION
